   The most outstanding chemical characteristic of VE is oxidation resistance. It can reinforce the function of cellular oxidation resistance. It’s good to protect the integrality of various cytolemma，to attend various metabolic process of some of the cellular tissue, to keep the vigor and acceptor of membrane bound enzyme .

3．Physicochemical property

   High d-α- tocopherol is a red brown to light yellow clear oiliness liquid and it is nearly without smell. It oxidizes slowly when meeting light and air and becomes darker.
   low d-α- tocopherol is a red brown to light yellow clear oiliness liquid and may have minicrystal suspended matter with a special smell and taste .It oxidizes slowly when meeting light and air and becomes darker（especially in alkaline medium）.
   d-α- acetic acid tocopherol is a colorless to yellow clear ropy oiliness liquid. It has almost no smell. It can be solidified if being put outside. It can be melted at about 25℃.It is instable in alkaline medium.
This product is not dissolved in water but dissolved in anhydrous alcohol. It is easy to dissolve in acetone, chloroform, ethyl ether and plant oil.

4．processing and storage

It should be put into aluminum vessel that accords with requirements of food hygiene，preserved in the vessel that is airproof and filled with chlorine. Try to avoid humidity and heat .5kg/drum。
Transportation and storage
   Try to avoid collision、rain、insolation and pollution。It’s better if it is stored in cool and dry place.
  If the package accords with the requirements and is completed and closed, the guarantee period is 18 months. Please use it at once if it is opened.
