Generally, series products of polyethylene glycol melt in water and varies organic solvent,but it couldn¡¯t melt in aliphatic hydrocarbon ¡¢benzene¡¢ethylene glycol etc. It can neither be hydrolysis nor deterioration. It also has a wide range of dissolve sphere and a good characteristic of solubility ,stability ,ointment, ¡¢membrane¡¢workability ¡¢decentralization etc. It is a matter that has no irritant characteristic £¬not belonging to ion polymer.
Application
there are two means of the use of polyethylene glycol :one is to include PEG into the completed product. For example:medicinal ointment¡¢cream¡¢lotion¡¢suppository¡¢troche and a liquor that? isn¡¯t? used in instestinal canal;in cosmetic ,it can be used in toothpaste ,hair oil, deodorizerand cleanser;in paper making,it can be used in ivory paper; sailulu membrane¡¢bond, detergent, flux, varnish and developer and so on. Another one is to offer lubricity such as figuration lubricity for metal, tile and china., for filature and textile fibre.,for tyre production, surgery suture £¬and mold release made from emulsion foams etc.
Packing and storage:
Polyethylene glycol 200-600 can be stored in plastic drum(50kg);polyethylene glycol 1000 in plastic drum(20kg);polyethylene glycol 1500-6000 in paper bag(25kg).Store it in cool and dry place.keep off fire and try to avoid touching something heat and oxide.
